IBExpertSQLMonitor is an Firebird/InterBase® administrator and developer tool, which combines SQL monitor functionality with server performance monitoring. the SQL monitor ability is access library independent, enabling you to log SQL traffic caused by any components or tools connecting to Firebird/InterBase® by TCP/IP.
The main differences to the InterBase® tmp tables and the Firebird monitor tables are: you can log all SQL commands with IP, Time and Plan in log files and maintain a protocol also for historic statements (for example who made a SELECT on a specific table last week, who made an UPDATE on a specific table last month).
Features
- Access library independent SQL monitor, with plan retrieval and execution time logging.
- Logs all SQL commands with corresponding plans and execution time.
- Filters SQL commands by include/exclude template e.g. if you don´t want to log system (
$RDBS) traffic, or you only wish to log those statements which directly concern the SALES table.
- Calculates traffic statistics (i/o bytes, statements count) by host names and sessions.
- Transforms all logs and stats into html form and uploads it on selected ftp.
- Filters logged statements by execution time, if you want to see only time-consuming commands.
- Saves all logs into selected database, if needed for further analysis.
- Presents runtime SQL traffic and server performance information in tables and diagrams (common statistics, active connections etc.).
- Separate services with flexible setup for specific funcitonalities.
- A single Control Center for all modules which can also used for runtime information monitoring.
- Basic firewall functionality for better server security.
The main differences to the InterBase® Tmp Tables Architecture and the Firebird monitor tables are: you can log all SQL Commands with IP, Time and Plan in Logfiles and maintain a protocol also for historic statements (for example who made a SELECT on a specific table last week, who made an UPDATE on a specific table last month).
IBExpertSQLMonitor currently works only on Windows®.
