Returns the ordinal value of the specified character.

Syntax

  function ibec_Ord(Chr : char): integer;

Description

The ibec_Ord function returns the ordinal value of the specified character. If Chr is an empty string or NULL, then result is 0.

  returns (val integer)

      val= ibec_Ord('A');

  end
