COS()

Description

Returns an angle's cosine. The argument should be given in radians.

Result type: DOUBLE PRECISION

Syntax

 COS (angle)

• Any non-NULL result is – obviously – in the range [-1, 1].

Important: If the external function COS is declared in your database, it will override the internal function. To make the internal function available, DROP or ALTER the external function (UDF).
