SIGN()

Description

Returns the sign of the argument: -1, 0 or 1.

Result type: SMALLINT

Syntax

 SIGN (number)

Important: If the external function SIGN is declared in your database, it will override the internal function. To make the internal function available, DROP or ALTER the external function (UDF).
